Can I just start by saying that I love how colorful these reprints are? The Japanese versions look great all lined up on my shelf, and I'm excited that the English versions are going to look just as good. Volume 2's color: Mercury's bubbly blue!

This blog contains one moonie's commentary and analyses of Kodansha's re-release of the Sailor Moon manga. I compare images from the original Japanese, Mixx / Tokyopop's original English translation, and Kodansha's new English translation to illustrate what I feel are some notable pros and cons about this manga revival of the world's greatest Magical Girl. In between manga releases, I will sometimes comment on other incarnations of Sailor Moon and its fandom.
